Colony Square was one of the first multi-use towers in Atlanta. The three towers are connected by a huge atrium offering a gym facility, restaurants, dry cleaning, medical services, and shopping. Colony Square condominiums are actually two separate residences--Hanover House and Colony House. Colony Square condominiums were designed by the architectural firm of Jova, Daniels, & Busby. Colony House and Hanover House are well know for their abundant use of textured poured concrete, floor-to-ceiling windows, and their big floor plans. Residents often comment how they can hear nothing when inside their unit because of the incredibly thick concrete walls. Unlike most condo buildings, the electric and cable are included in the monthly condominium dues. There are about 190 residences at Colony House and 90 residences at Hanover House. Hanover House was built as condominiums. Colony House was built as apartments and later converted to condominiums. Even though the interests and challenges are similar for residents of Colony House and Hanover House, the homeowners assocations are separate. Colony Square is located in the heart of Midtown, within walking distance to the High Museum, Symphony, MARTA subway, fine dining, and Piedmont Park. Ask about possible pet restrictions.
